Day 18 | Home Screen Design
Today I’m sharing the home screen of a crypto and payments app built for everyday Nigerians.
Most crypto apps feel built for traders only. I wanted this one to feel like a daily-use app for everyone. Here’s what makes it different:
Balance first. The total balance sits in a bold card with the 30-day performance (+12.5%) right below it. There’s also a hide-balance toggle for privacy in public.
Buy and Sell, front and center. The two main actions are impossible to miss. Buy is filled and Sell is outlined, so the hierarchy is clear at a glance.
More than crypto. Quick actions for Crypto, Gift Cards, Airtime and Data mean users can trade and also handle daily needs in one place.
Market overview at a glance. A live BTC price in Naira with a mini trend chart, so users don’t have to leave the home screen to check the market.
Dark UI with an electric blue glow. It feels modern, premium and trustworthy, which matters when money is involved. It’s also easy on the eyes.
Simple navigation. Home, Wallet, Transaction, Referrals and Profile. Five tabs, no confusion.
What makes it unique is that it combines crypto trading with everyday utilities in a clean, local-first experience, with prices in ₦ and no jargon overload.
