ONE LIFE — You only get one life. You don’t have to carry everything alone.
For the Lovable Challenge, I built ONE LIFE — a human-centered support and wellbeing platform designed to make finding the right kind of support feel simple.
The idea starts with a common problem: when someone is struggling, they often don’t know what they’re experiencing, who they should talk to, or how to actually get support.
ONE LIFE brings that journey together:
Understand → Connect → Choose → Book → Breathe
Users can explore patterns they may be experiencing, find peer supporters or qualified professionals, see availability, and book a session without the usual back-and-forth.
For providers, the workflow is handled automatically — booking confirmation, availability updates, reminders and follow-ups — so less time is spent coordinating and more time can be spent helping people.
I wanted the experience to feel less like a healthcare dashboard and more like a quiet, human space you’d actually want to return to.

Congrats to the winners, the craft on those projects is impressive.
I’d like to add a constructive note on transparency. The brief listed four criteria: problem-solving impact, owner-effort reduction, craft and storytelling. My entry (Suds & Scissors, a booking system for a solo mobile dog groomer in Portland) focused on the first two: an AI texting assistant that turns “can you fit my doodle in?” into a booked, deposit-backed slot, plus automated reminders, waitlist refills and no-show protection.
I’m not questioning anyone’s effort or the winners’ quality. It would just help everyone improve if Contra shared a short note on how the criteria were weighted, and maybe brief feedback for finalists. That would make future challenges feel worth the investment for newer members too.
