One continuous shot: the camera turns to introduce each instrument in the band.
It's part of a piece I'm building for a holographic display. Do the instruments read at this speed, or is the light getting in the way? Tell me what you notice first.
The camera turn is a great way to make the band feel discovered one instrument at a time. I’d love to see how a slightly slower light transition changes the read of the holographic depth.
Some SaaS products have a lot to say. The challenge is knowing what actually needs to be shown.
For this video, I wanted to keep the promo focused on the product while giving it enough visual character to make the experience memorable.
I played with pacing, composition, motion and product visuals to create something that feels modern without making the interface the entire story.
I always enjoy this part of motion design: finding the balance between showing enough and leaving enough space for the viewer to understand it on their own.
Would you use this kind of visual direction for a SaaS product? 💭
