Commercial Book Cover Design with Ideogram + Photoshop
Psychological thrillers demand immediate narrative impact
and visual clarity. This project showcases a high-concept book cover designed to solve the commercial chokepoint of complex visual art.
This whole process used to take days brainstorming concepts,
gathering assets, and executing complex compositing in Photoshop. Now with Ideogram, the core concept and visual composition were fully developed in less than 2 hours. I then brought it into Photoshop for color grading, precise typography fixing, and fine manipulation tweaks, letting me focus on pure art direction.

I partnered with Vita Coco, the beloved coconut water brand, on their Brand Activation Campaign held in Paris.
The event was in conjunction with a run club; they rented a kiosk along the Seine and supplied the runners with their coconut water.... and a bunch of posters and postcards to remember the day by.
That's where I came in!
I was commissioned 10+ designs that could work as both posters and postcards. Considering the nature of the brand activation, we wanted something that felt fresh, summery, sporty and infused with Vita Coco energy. Think running the streets of Paris, but with a tropical twist.
The activation was a huge success; all that's left to say now is...

"Cherie, on court?" is such a fun pun for a run club tie in, and the colors feel summery without leaning too hard into typical coconut water cliches. With 10+ designs to keep cohesive, how did you keep the illustrated character consistent across posters versus the smaller postcard formats?

The project covers the complete user journey, from onboarding and authentication to AI-powered editing, image adjustments, premium features, profile management, and support screens.
I always impress with people who can deliver editor in mobile app! Limited screen and dozens possibilities.

Two crafts, two desks, same 2am.
One belongs to the editor — cool blue glow, a timeline of city lights, a lens within reach. Shaping the story frame by frame.
The other belongs to the motion designer — purple keyframes, bezier curves, ideas learning to move.
Same black mug, same cold coffee, two completely different ways of building something that didn't exist yesterday.
