YouTube’s new feature could level the playing field for small creators
Did you know YouTube channels experience a major shift in growth once they hit 500,000 subscribers? That’s when momentum kicks in—more views, more recommendations, and more revenue.
To help smaller creators reach this tipping point, YouTube is testing a new feature called Hype.
The Hype button lets viewers go beyond just liking a video. The most hyped videos are featured on a leaderboard, giving smaller creators a chance to shine.
