Where Wolf? 🐺🌕  A Harvest Moon Mystery
This is a hidden-object mystery set in an isometric town. Help five residents find what's gone missing, collect clues that ink in a sketch of the culprit, and search across the whole map at midnight with a dying flashlight.
Rive features used
Rive CLI: the scene is written in RML with a coding agent (Claude Code), built and checked with the CLI (--verify, headless playthroughs that play the whole game start to finish, benchmarks), round- tripped with the Rive Editor through rive push / rive pull, and published to the web and iOS.
Scripting: a Luau layout script runs the camera (drag, pinch, one-finger zoom), the story, about 30 walkers on their own routes, the flashlight hunt and the audio, including five area music loops that stay in sync and crossfade as you move around the map.
State Machines: the night deepening over three acts, Wolfgang's poses and expressions, walker draw order, falling leaves, birds, bats and other ambient motion.
Rive Editor (human touch): the Werewolf Rig (bones, pose and face Solos), the residents, the raccoon, the town's tiles and art, and many layout and art adjustments, merged back into the build with every pull.
Also: nested artboards and components, layouts for the HUD, draw rules, feathers, additive blend mode and clipping for the night lighting.
