I’m excited to share a look into my latest character project built in Rive. Unlike static illustrations, these vector assets are designed for the modern web—fully scalable, lightweight, and ready for real-time interaction.
I recently rekindled my passion for art and illustration after years of neglecting my skills. Inspired by a few pieces of artwork, such as one of the games from my childhood, I decided to create art based on the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. (Spoilers!)
To bring my illustration to life, I used Adobe Fresco, which offers an impressive range of live brushes that allow me to simulate watercolor techniques and achieve a rich, textured coloring effect.
