A remote Scottish road. Two strangers. A story I wanted to bring to life.

Introducing my short film, The Passenger, created using Seedance 2.5.

I burned through plenty of credits getting this right—keeping characters consistent, refining performances, maintaining continuity, and convincing everyone to stay on the correct side of a right-hand-drive Land Rover! 😂

It’s in no way perfect. There are details I’d still refine and moments that reveal the limitations of the tools, but I’m proud of what I’ve created and how much I learned along the way.

Making individual shots look good is one thing. Getting them to belong to the same film—with consistent characters, atmosphere and an emotional thread—takes creative direction, patience and plenty of iteration.

This project pushed me to explore how far I could take AI filmmaking while keeping storytelling at the heart of every decision.
