For the Base44 #GiveItAGlow challenge, I wanted to work with a real local business, so I chose one of my friends who didn’t have a website at all, just WhatsApp and phone calls.
I chose SS Car Care Detailing Centre and decided to give it a glowup. Until now, every booking, quote, and question went through manual calls and scattered WhatsApp chats. No central system, no way for customers to understand coatings, and no long-term tracking of protection.
I built ShieldForge on Base44 as their first proper digital home:
A machined graphite “control surface” UI, designed for a serious studio:
- Coating Simulator: customers quickly input vehicle type, usage, and goal and see clear recommendations for Ceramic, Graphene, PPF, or Teflon with durability, care, and price bands.
- Shield Memory Vault: each vehicle becomes a digital twin with service history, current shield status, and next recommended visit.
- Booking flow: clean 3-step booking from simulator or services, wired to real date/time slots.
Role-based access & security:
- Separate "customer" and "owner" roles enforced through Base44 auth.
- Customers see only their own vehicles, bookings, and shield status.
- The Owner Shield Nexus (internal dashboard) is fully locked behind the owner role and hidden from public navigation.
- AetherGuard is configured to use only ShieldForge’s own data and never leak other customers’ details in chat.
