Scientists think they may have finally cracked why the Moon has two completely different faces.
The side facing us is covered in dark, smooth plains, ancient lava that flooded the surface billions of years ago. The far side barely has any. Same rock, same age, same origin story. The new theory comes down to heat: the near side spent its early life soaking up warmth from a much hotter young Earth, which kept its crust thin enough for magma to keep punching through. The far side cooled faster and sealed itself shut.
Every client site I've touched has a near side and a far side like that. The homepage, the pricing page, the three screens the client actually opens, stay thin. Every update breaks through easily, gets touched, gets fixed within the week. Then there's the privacy policy, the old blog category nobody's linked to in two years, the footer nobody's opened since launch. Nothing's technically wrong there. Nobody's looked long enough to find out. The crust just sealed over.
Which page on your current project do you genuinely know nobody's opened in months?
