Been thinking a lot about pacing lately.
The hardest part of a SaaS explainer isn't the animation, it's deciding what to cut. A 60-second video has room for maybe three ideas, not ten. Every extra scene you "save" is a second the viewer quietly checks out.
So these days I lock the storyboard before I touch After Effects. Obvious in theory, but it's saved me hours of polishing shots that never should've existed.
