I’ve been obsessed with the beauty of a dying signal. 🎞️
For REMNANT, I built a design system around intentional entropy, VHS tracking errors, color bleed, and scan lines. The goal wasn't to "fix" the film, but to celebrate the aesthetics of its deterioration.
The logo itself degrades and reassembles on every loop.

Exploring visual directions through retexturing.
This was a quick experiment using MidJourney’s retexture feature.
I took a logo and cycled it through different aesthetics to see how it looked.
A few directions I explored:
• 90s grey computer hardware
• colourful translucent material
• circuit-like textures and patterns
It’s a simple way to test different visual directions.
