What actually happens before a website goes live? 👀
For me, it’s never just:
Figma → Webflow → Publish.
There’s a lot happening in between.
I usually start by understanding the brand, the audience, and the goal of the website.
Then I work through the design and structure, making sure the layout makes sense before getting into development.
Once the direction is clear, I move into the build:
→ Responsive layouts → CMS setup → Interactions & animations → Forms & integrations → Custom code where needed → SEO basics → Cross-device testing → Final QA before launch
One thing I’ve learned after working on 300+ websites is that small details make a big difference.
A button that feels natural. A mobile layout that doesn’t feel cramped. A form that actually works. A page that loads smoothly. A CMS that the client can easily manage later.
The final website might look simple.
But making it feel simple takes a lot of work behind the scenes. ✨
That’s the part of web development I enjoy the most — turning a design into something that actually works in the real world.
