Version Log — Framer Map Locator CMS Component Update
Version 1.0.3
Custom Marker Improvements
The map now supports custom marker artwork for individual locations and for all pins through the default marker setting. Uploaded SVG, PNG, JPG, and WebP icons are rendered inside the custom pin while preserving their proportions. The main custom marker pin was increased by 16%, while the icon artwork remains at its existing size and is centered within the pin’s circular head to prevent overlap with the marker edges.
Category Filter Improvements
Clicking a category tab now resets the map viewport and automatically fits all visible locations in the selected category. Clicking the currently selected category again also resets the map view, and any selected location popup is cleared when changing categories. The behavior is applied consistently across both category-tab layouts.
Apple Maps and Waze Directions
Location details now include direct navigation links for Apple Maps and Waze. Visitors can select the configured Apple Maps or Waze action to get directions to the selected location using its latitude and longitude coordinates. Both links support customizable button labels and can be enabled or disabled independently.
Distance from Your Location
The map can use the visitor’s current location to calculate and display how far each location is away in miles. Visitors can also sort locations by distance to find the nearest available place more quickly.
Office Local Time and Status
Office locations can display their current local time based on the configured timezone. The office details can also show operating hours and an availability or open-status indicator, helping visitors understand whether an office is currently open.

Map Locator CMS — Component for Framer
Interactive Map Location — Map Locator CMS is a premium Maps component for Framer, on the Framer Marketplace. Build on it with Framer’s agent, directly on the canvas.
Smart call scaling the pin 16% but keeping the uploaded icon size — that’s the kind of detail that stops custom markers from clipping at the edges. Auto-fit on category change + clearing the popup is also the right UX; nothing worse than a filter that leaves you zoomed on the wrong city.

🚀 Oda — an architecture studio template for Framer, with agent skills
Oda is a website template for architecture and interiors studios, laid out like a drawing set: graphite lines on warm paper, title blocks, sheet numbers and line drawings that draw themselves.
The Framer edition comes with five skills for Framer's agent, so you can make the site yours in plain language:
👉 /oda-rebrand — "Rebrand this for our studio in Porto." Studio name, city, the sun study's location and time zone, colours (contrast-checked), fonts and copy, in the right order.
👉 /oda-content — "Add three projects." CMS items with every field filled, ASCII slugs, sheets kept in order.
👉 /oda-code-components — "Make the cabin draw twice as fast." Properties first, code only when a property can't do it.
👉 /oda-design-system — new pages and sections use the Oda styles, grid and section numbering.
👉 /oda-before-publish — the checklist the template was built to pass, on every page at Desktop, Tablet and Phone.
What's in the template:
· A timber cabin that draws itself, with a sun study you can drag. The shadow uses real solar maths for your city.
· Project sheets on a sideways track, and a floor plan that builds as you scroll.
· Materials with drawn textures, a team section, awards and a contact form with a sketch pad.
· Responsive down to 390 px, WCAG AA contrast, reduced-motion support.
Framer edition $59. Also available in plain HTML and React.

Nice temple and nice animations congratulations Lauri good job🎉🎉🎉
Gorge · Built for Visuals
A distinctive way for illustrators, designers, and visual artists to showcase their work, build their identity, and create an online presence that feels uniquely theirs.
For me personally, an intro/loading screen is a must for every website I make.
Same with a subtle blur when opening a modal. Just blur, no dark overlay. It makes the site feel more premium imo.
Wdyt? What's your favorite detail on your own sites?
Top-notch design.
