What if the botanical artists of the 19th century could imagine the luxury objects of the future? Botanical Futures transforms the elegance of antique magnolia paintings into a collection of futuristic headphones, handbags, earbuds, sneakers, smartphones, smartwatches, electric scooters, and perfume bottles. Inspired by luminous ivory petals, muted olive foliage, deep blue-green velvet, and dramatic oil-painting textures, I developed a unified visual direction that blends historical fine art with unexpected contemporary design. The project explores how a forgotten artistic aesthetic can be reimagined through a custom Recraft Style, creating a fictional world where nature and technology exist in harmony. My goal was to make everyday objects feel like extraordinary artifacts discovered in a botanical museum from the year 2090.
