I've been using Contra for a while now, mostly as a place to showcase our work.
But lately I've been wondering how people actually use the platform to get hired.
Is it the projects you publish? Your profile?
Being active in the community? Applying to jobs?
We've had clients find us through different places, but Contra still feels a little different to me. There's the portfolio side, the community side, the job side, and I'm not sure how much each one actually matters.
So I'm curious: if you've gotten projects through Contra, what actually worked for you?
I'd especially love to hear from people who've been using it for a while, not just what you're supposed to do, but what actually led to a project.
We first heard about Contra through Blahomyr and his posts on LinkedIn. After doing some research, we realized that Contra is a platform that could be a great fit for our studio. Hopefully, we’ll land our first project here very soon!
