Project Summary: Midwest Home Physicians
I developed an AI-driven clinical documentation tool designed to streamline administrative workflows for nursing staff. By leveraging conversational AI, you created a system capable of capturing and structuring patient encounters in real-time.
Key Contributions & Features:
Automated SOAP Notes: Engineered an AI agent that automatically generates comprehensive and formatted SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes by the end of a patient visit.
Conversational Extraction: Designed the system to listen to and analyze the natural conversation between the nurse and the patient, accurately extracting relevant medical data without requiring manual data entry.
Workflow Optimization: Significantly reduced the administrative burden on nurses, allowing them to focus entirely on patient care rather than post-visit charting and documentation.

UX/UI design of Navigate Care App, a mobile product that helps users quickly understand what care they need and where to get it.
The app uses AI to guide people from symptom input to personalized care recommendations, nearby providers, insurance-filtered options, cost estimates, and booking.
We focused on designing a clear, calming mobile experience with intuitive flows, strong visual hierarchy, and trust-building UI that simplifies complex healthcare decisions for busy, health-conscious users.
The majority of mental health applications are created with a backwards approach.
They request users to start the conversation, which is the very issue that needs to be addressed - people find it difficult to initiate conversation.
So, I made a simple adjustment: I eliminated the initial blank input field.
This has changed the interaction:
Now the AI initiates the conversation, users respond according to their emotions, and the input of text or voice comes after, not before.
This minor change has a significant impact because starting a conversation is often the most challenging part.
If your product still presents users with a blank input field right off the bat, you're asking them to tackle the most difficult task first.
