Most founders don’t have a personal branding problem. They have a “how do I actually do this?” problem.
As someone who works with founders on their personal brands, I see the same challenge repeatedly. They know they should be creating content. They have experiences, opinions and stories worth sharing. But turning all of that into a consistent, useful piece of content feels like another job they don't have time for.
For the Descript Challenge, I wanted to teach something I’m already trying to solve with my clients: how founders can turn what they’re already experiencing into personal branding content.
So I turned the approach I use into a simple Do → Think → Share framework.
Do: What happened?
Think: What did it teach you?
Share: What can someone else learn from it?
But teaching the framework felt incomplete. I also wanted to show founders how they can actually make the content.
That's where Descript came in.
This challenge gave me the opportunity to combine both things I care about, Teaching the strategy and giving people a practical tool to execute it. Because personal branding shouldn't be about constantly finding something to say.
Build something. Learn something. Teach something.
Do, Think, Share is simple enough that a founder could actually stick to it, which is rare for content frameworks. Pairing the strategy with a Descript walkthrough instead of just explaining it makes the challenge feel useful rather than theoretical.
Let me teach you how to make a static logo feel alive
I'm no Spider-Man, but I do swing around motion design a bit. For this challenge, I'm walking you through how I animated the logo for DEHORS, a hiking club I genuinely loved working on! It's a real client project and a real process.
Concept, hunting for royalty-free photos that hit the right outdoorsy mood and color tone (harder than it sounds 😅), and the small movement trick that makes it feel alive without overdoing it in After Effects.

The Met's own catalogue calls this household "proverbial" for chaos in Dutch culture. Jan Steen painted his own family that way, over and over, in the 1600s. A painting can only show chaos once, frozen. But Steen's joke was never "it's messy right now." It was "it never stops."
So we built the loop. In FLORA, we generated five checkpoints from the Met's own image of Merry Company on a Terrace (ca. 1670, accession 58.89), each one pushing the mayhem further: a poured glass, a raised toast, a toppled toy horse, full pandemonium, then a snap back to the start. We tested many models like MiniMax, Seedance, and Kling O3 Pro side by side and kept whichever take felt most alive, the whole cast moving at once, not just one character in the spotlight. The music is an original ElevenLabs composition, looped under the whole thing. Footage was upscaled with Topaz Labs, then finished in After Effects, hard-cut together with a layer of grain, closer to the painting's own oil-on-canvas texture.
Watch it long enough and the party proves Steen's own point: it really doesn't stop. #floramuseumchallenge
