I've only recently started using this platform. I've been working as a screenwriter for about ten years and I'm hoping this will be a new opportunity to showcase my work and take on many projects with new clients.
I'm open to recommendations from those who have been here on Contra longer.
Engaging website for a New York–based architecture and construction studio, balancing bold typography, immersive imagery and a minimal editorial layout.
The dark framing on the edges is such a clever visual trick! It actually fools the eye and makes the whole presentation look like a 3D physical object. Brilliant depth!
Congrats on the first one! Landing on a workforce solutions angle for schools is a pretty specific niche. Was that the client's ask from the start, or did the positioning come out of your own research?
Never really thought my first features on Contra would feel this reassuring. Seeing both Direct Design and Nexterra get picked by the Contra team honestly means a lot.
There’s always that little doubt when you put your work out there, wondering if it’s good enough, if the right people are seeing it or if you’re moving in the right direction.

Thank you to the Contra team for noticing the work and for the little bit of encouragement I didn’t know I needed. 🫶
