Most Google Search campaigns don't fail because of budget. They fail because of match type chaos.
Here's the fix I use on every account I manage:
1. Start with Phrase + Exact match only for the first 2 weeks.
2. Pull search term reports every 3-4 days, not once a month.
3. Add negatives BEFORE you add new keywords.
4. Never let Broad Match run unsupervised on a new account.
Small accounts don't need more keywords. They need cleaner ones.
