I built a website where the only interaction is waiting.
No buttons. No scroll. No clicks. You just stay. The longer you stay, the more it reveals — poetry, meaning, beauty. And then it all disappears. Because nothing is permanent. Not even the things you earned by being patient.
Your cursor becomes a flashlight into the past — briefly illuminating what was there. But you can never see the whole thing again.
Still Here — built for the Figma Makeathon.
A screen that asks for nothing but your presence. https://unify-poppy-13936731.figma.site

Interesting

Fascinating exploration of passive interaction. Interesting how removing control shifts the experience from navigation to contemplation.

Thank you! That's exactly the shift I was going for. Every interface assumes the user needs to act, I wanted to see what happens when the screen does the work and the user just has to be present. Turns out removing control doesn't remove engagement, it just changes what engagement means

That’s a beautiful insight — engagement as presence rather than action. It’s interesting how most interfaces equate interaction with productivity.

This feels less like a website and more like an experience. Designing interaction around patience instead of action is such a powerful inversion of modern digital behavior.

Really appreciate that. 'Less like a website, more like an experience' is exactly what I was aiming for. The web has so much untapped potential beyond just serving content, it can make you feel something if you design for presence instead of productivity.

This is giving me existential dread (am I waiting for Godot?) yet it's so therapeutic at the same time. Love this experience. :D

Hahaha love the Godot reference 🤣 Dread and therapy in the same tab is exactly the vibe I was going for. Thanks! :D

I definitely don't have the attention span for this 🤣
Matea's avatar
Trust me neither do I 😄 but honestly that's the whole point, none of us do anymore. That's what made it interesting to build

what was the thought process for this this is really cool
Matea's avatar
Thanks! I wanted to explore the interaction experience that is totally opposite of conventional interactions that we all know. The thought process started with a question: what if a website didn't want anything from you? Every screen we use today is designed to make us act....

“Patience is not passive it is the hardest form of participation” Awesome stuff, I almost closed the tab 😂
