Hi, everyone! I’m new here on Contra, and I wanted my first post to share something very special to me: my oldest traditional marketing showreel, created back in 2013 long before generative AI and today’s AI-powered editing tools became part of the mainstream creative workflow.

This is AI-free, pure hands-on creative work. Every concept, edit, transition, visual treatment, and story was built the traditional way using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

This 2:52 reel was created by conceptualizing and repurposing existing projects, from runway shows and red carpet events to celebrity profiles, Hollywood movie trailers, interviews, and event footage, and transforming them into one cohesive visual story.

Looking back, I’m proud of what this represents. Not just the editing, but the creative thinking behind every edit.

From concept development and creative direction → storytelling → motion graphics → editing → final delivery, this is the kind of work that shaped my career and continues to influence how I approach projects today.

Since I’m new here on Contra, I wanted my first post to introduce not just what I can edit, but how I think as a creative.

I’m looking forward to connecting with clients, brands, and creative teams who value experience, storytelling, strategic thinking, and a strong visual point of view.

This is where it started. And I’m excited for what’s next. 🚀

Getting out of your confort zone might be one of the best moves in Video Editing. Why? This was about a year ago. The style, although simple, took a loot of time and effort to recreate. I took inspiration on a video sent by one of my friends and on that day, that video inspired me to create this. It was my first attempt at doing something completely different than usual, but it turned out actually great! And the best part?
