I got early access and helped the team with a few tests and design reviews. Very intrigued with where this is heading.

3D GIS Thematic Mapping and Spatial Analysis This project presents a 3D thematic GIS visualization that converts spatial data into an interactive 3D scene. The work focuses on showing geographic patterns through colored 3D columns, grid-based spatial layers, boundary outlines, and thematic classification. Instead of using a flat 2D map, the data is visualized in height-based 3D form, making differences between areas easier to understand.

The project includes spatial data preparation, layer styling, attribute-based classification, 3D extrusion, color ramp visualization, map navigation, and final presentation rendering. This type of visualization is useful for urban analysis, environmental assessment, population density mapping, risk analysis, land-use studies, business location analysis, and any project where spatial values need to be compared visually.
