MoMo is a soft pink monster who lives inside a playful learning game for kids. She isn't a sticker on top of the interface, she's part of the product itself, reacting live to what the child does and to the game's data. Her big eyes follow the cursor, and her teeth bounce and pop with sound when tapped. The heart of the game, and what MoMo is designed to respond to, is drag-and-drop: children drag numbers and letters into their matching shadows to spell words like "one" and "two," and MoMo reacts to each correct match. That drag-to-match interaction is the intended core of the experience and is still being finalized, but the foundation is already wired with Rive data binding: the screen state, the pieces, their molds, and MoMo's reactions all stay in sync, so she already feels less like an animation loop and more like a real companion who's paying attention. She has a world to live in, something to respond to, and a purpose: making a child's first numbers and letters feel warm, alive, and encouraging. Next step for MoMo: finishing the magnetic snap so each piece locks into its shadow with a success/fail reaction! the data-binding foundation is already in place. Excited to keep building her out! 💗
