A milestone I wanted to document.
I joined Contra around six months ago with a Discovery Score around 30.
Today I’m at 163 and in the Top 1% of creatives.
Most of that growth happened while I was consistently building, publishing and improving without much client validation.
Since then, the portfolio has grown, the work has become much stronger, I’ve earned expert recognition across Rive, Jitter and Ideogram, and client conversations are finally starting to turn into real work.
Still a long way to go, but I’m very glad I kept going.

I’m especially happy about this because working on this template was a creative outlet for me.
I wanted to build something useful for a business: a website that covers what a studio needs when it opens, from an easy-to-use schedule to clearly structured class information, with a solid foundation for SEO.
At the same time, I wanted it to feel beautiful. To bring a sense of movement, lightness, and the joy of taking a class into the design. To capture that friendly atmosphere that makes you want to walk into a studio and give it a try.
