Behind the scenes — how i created this ai luxury campaign
this project started from a very simple idea:👇👇
“what if a luxury client could come with just an idea… and leave with an entire visual campaign?”
I wanted to create a short cinematic conversation between a luxury client and a creative director but the real goal wasn't just to make a pretty ai video.
I wanted to show what i can actually do with ai.
from campaign direction →
product photography →
campaign visuals → brand
content → cinematic video.
so instead of making a typical “here are my services” portfolio video, i decided to turn the whole thing into a little story.
The client comes in explaining how difficult it has become to constantly create new content.
another photoshoot.
another photographer.
another location.
another round of production.
and then the creator basically shows her…
“you don't necessarily need to start from scratch every time.”
and that's where the conversation starts changing.
the fun part was actually building the world first.
Before getting into the video, i had to make sure both characters felt like real people and not two random ai-generated characters appearing in different scenes 😂
i created the character identities first. the client had her own luxury look, wardrobe, hair, makeup and overall personality.
and the creator had her own identity too the burgundy abaya, structured hijab, glasses, jewelry, soft glam etc. Then i had to keep those identities consistent throughout the entire conversation.
same women.
same wardrobe.
same environment.
same luxury studio.
different camera moments.
and honestly… this was one of the biggest parts of the project.
and then came the part where ai decided to humble me 😂 around scenes 5–7, there were a few moments where the creator's face wasn't fully visible because of the angle.
you'd mostly see the side of her face. And naturally… Flow saw an opportunity. 😭 It started drifting her facial features a little.
nothing completely crazy, but enough for me to notice that the identity wasn't staying as locked as i wanted.
so i went back and tried correcting it. adjusted the prompts. worked with the previous frames. tried to keep the camera and positioning consistent. and this is where i had to stop treating every new scene like a completely new generation.
instead, i started using the actual final frame from the previous clip as the starting point for the next one. That made a huge difference.
because instead of basically telling the model: “here are two women in a luxury studio, recreate this scene…”
i was telling it: “this is already the scene. continue from here.”
that helped me maintain the environment, wardrobe, composition and character continuity much better.
but yeah… we all know Flow is still gonna fumble sometimes 😂
especially when you're asking it to maintain the same person across multiple shots.
so there was definitely some back and forth.
Subtle operational activity another thing i learned during this project… don't overcomplicate the dialogue.
At first, it was tempting to split everything into a lot of tiny clips just to make sure every line fit.
but that started making the conversation feel unnatural.
so i started asking myself:
“would a real person actually say this in one breath?”
if yes → keep it together.
if no → split it.
That helped the conversation feel much more natural instead of sounding like a bunch of disconnected ai clips stitched together. and for the voices, i wanted the opposite of that typical ai-generated delivery.
no robotic perfection.
no “hello valued customer” energy 😂 i wanted little pauses.
breathing. slight hesitations. natural reactions.
The little imperfections that make a conversation actually feel like a conversation. And then came the final frame.
I didn't want to end the video with another person talking.
I wanted the ending to feel like a luxury campaign end card. So i stripped everything back.
dark burgundy/black.
champagne gold lighting.
minimal architectural texture.
and then:
BRING ME THE IDEA.
followed by the services.
because after watching the conversation, the viewer should already understand the story.
the final frame just brings the message home.
what started as a simple portfolio video ended up becoming a whole little production exercise.
character development.
Visual direction.
Image generation.
Scene continuity.
Image-to-video.
Voice direction.
Editing.
Timing.
problem solving.
and a whole lot of:
“okay Flow… let's try that again.” 😂 but honestly, that's also what i love about working with AI. it's not always about getting the perfect generation on the first try.
sometimes it's about knowing what needs to be fixed, what needs to be left alone, and how to work around the limitations without losing the original creative direction. And that's really what this project was about for me. Taking one idea and turning it into an entire visual campaign.
Bring me the idea. 🔥🔥🔥
