Repairing a broken phone doesn't have to cost the same as replacing it. Plenty of small business repair shops offer affordable prices, so there's no need for a hefty insurance plan. Given that, it's only an issue of access. RetPair is a nonprofit startup based in Washington, DC, with a mission to reduce e-waste by encouraging people to repair their electronics instead of replacing them. Finite resources that are difficult to retrieve are being wasted due to how often people replace their devices. Toxic chemicals are also leaked into the atmosphere in landfills. RetPair has many small business repair shops in its network, but needs a site for users to connect with them and book and track appointments. This is a Figma prototype showing a user's dashboard to review their current and past device repairs.
