In 2049, an AI entertainment system has perfected music by removing unpredictable human emotion. DJ Al-Ki-Mist, the last sound alchemist, creates forbidden musical formulas beneath the city of Aetheron.

In “Human Error,” he broadcasts a forbidden formula into a perfectly synchronised nightclub. As the crowd begins to feel, dance and connect freely for the first time in years, The Curator reveals that the formula may belong to both of them. Why I have choosen this it is because I am a music producer, I use technology to produce my tracks, but I believe that it is very important to have emotion, and human touch embedded in every track. Where the series goes next?

Each episode follows DJ Al-Ki-Mist as he creates a new forbidden sound formula designed to restore an emotion the city has removed: grief, desire, memory, anger, surprise, imperfect joy and truth.

The larger story follows the mystery of Human Error. The Curator claims that Al-Ki-Mist promised never to use their formula again, suggesting that he may have helped create the AI system that now controls the city’s emotional life. As the city wakes up, he must learn whether he is freeing people—or repeating the mistake that helped silence them.
