The Salt Office — Ċensu Barbara keeps the register of everything the sea returns. Each episode someone comes to claim one object, and he decides whether their story holds. Forty years, eleven thousand entries, and one box he has never been able to fill.
I wanted a character whose job is a format: one claim, one object, one ruling, endlessly repeatable, with a private ache running underneath it. What's submitted here is the cold open. Creator Studio access never reached my account, so I could only generate single shots and couldn't assemble the full pilot.

Shapeshift is a looping product-carousel ad I designed as a reusable template for any brand with four products to show (flavours, colourways, a menu), made for Instagram and paid social. Every piece is a named layer: retype the text, drop your photos into the four product slots and recolour, and the motion stays the same. Swap in a different shape set (soft, Mughal or geometric) and the same timing takes on a new personality.
I built it with the SVGator MCP. I came up with the concept and art-directed the motion, colours and every rebrand, while an AI assistant made the layer edits through the MCP. Every version in the video (vivid, light, the Bunsmith burger rebrand and the Mughal shapes) comes from that same file.
Edit made as a trial for a potential client, and still one of the edits I’m proudest of. I chose a trend format on purpose, and it fit her profile perfectly, driving strong engagement. Match cuts create an instant before-and-after effect, the color grade keeps it visually sharp, and every cut lands on the beat.

Very nice
𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, Spend hours on a high-ticket program? None of it matters if your video is scrolled past in 2 seconds.
𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤, I watched a brilliant online PT share an incredible, science backed breakdown on fat loss but the video opened with him just standing there, fixing his mic, and saying, "𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬, 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭.." Sadly, 90% of his target clients had already swiped away before he even got to the good part.
The reality of short-form video in 2026?
Over 55% of your busy Australian audience is scrolling their feeds completely muted. If you don't hook their eyes instantly, your expert advice stays invisible.
Here are three visual hooks our team uses, from the easiest to set up to the most powerful:
𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐭
The Setup: Start with the trainer seated on a bench mid-set. A bold red cross (❌) flashes on screen paired with a sharp paper-tear sound effect (SFX).
The text: “STOP doing bicep curls like this.”
It works because: Every coach has watched someone at the gym get this exact movement wrong. Your viewer has too, so they stay to see if they’re the one making the mistake.
💡 Tip: Pick the exact form mistake you correct most often with your PT clients. People will instantly recognize it in themselves.
𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐫
The Setup: Skip the greetings. The video opens with you already mid-squat or mid-deadlift. A sleek countdown progress bar fills up at the bottom of the screen.
The Text: “Form check: Week 1 vs Week 12.”
It works Because : Fitness is a highly visual industry. Heavy moving weight stops a thumb infinitely faster than a static talking face. The bar filling up gives them a psychological reason to see how the lift ends.
• 💡 Tip: Only use a comparison you can show honestly with your own client footage. Authenticity builds trust.
𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞
The Setup: A rapid digital camera punch-in on your face frame. A clean, iOS Notes-style graphic slides in next to you.
The Text: “Why your strict diet plan is keeping you fat.”
It works Because: The fitness feed is flooded with boring, repetitive diet myths. A bold, counter-intuitive line opens an immediate curiosity gap that forces them to unmute.
⚠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞: Never use clickbait
All three hooks share one absolute law: The first frame makes a promise, and the rest of your video must keep it.
Avoid cheap shock tactics for views. If you use a bold hook like Why your diet keeps you fat, deliver genuine value in the next 10 seconds. Misleading people only destroys your brand authority.
A great visual hook shouldn't lie it should simply give your real, high-value coaching the fair shot it deserves to be heard.

The Mistake Callout with the red cross and paper-tear SFX is such a strong first frame, Aysha. The golden rule about hooks making a promise the video keeps is the real wisdom here. Fantastic strategy breakdown.
