A lot of apps lose users before they even get a chance to experience value. During quick interviews, a few people mentioned they prefer not to be overwhelmed with long onboarding processes, especially for fintech apps. They want to: -> get in -> see how it works -> then decide if it’s worth committing to So Skana’s onboarding was designed to do only 2 things: 1️⃣ Explain what the app is for (scan to pay and pay via username or store name) 2️⃣ Get the user into the product fast More serious details can come later, when verification is required. This approach reduces friction, improves activation, and makes the product feel less stressful from the first screen. I'll be sharing more ui & ux decisions, product structure, trade offs and mvp thinking behind the project.
