AWS and Google Cloud can now connect directly - no middlemen needed. I got hands-on with AWS Interconnect - multicloud the week it launched and documented the full setup. From creating the interconnect in AWS, through configuring the GCP side, to a working ping test between Frankfurt regions in under an hour. (Actual setup time: ~20 minutes. The rest was me doing ClickOps slowly.)
