When people think about websites, they usually notice the big things.
The homepage. The typography. The layout.
I enjoy working on the details most people never think about.
For Maxwell Design Co, I got to develop the static and animated web assets that quietly bring the website to life.
Every mockup, transition, and visual element was intentional. Not to show off motion, but to make the experience feel more natural and connected.
Funny thing is, if you notice the animations, I've probably overdone them.
The best ones simply help the story flow.
It's always satisfying to see those small details become part of a bigger experience.

I designed this concept for freelancers who do design work behind an agency's name, the kind of job where your best work never gets your name on it. So instead of a typical portfolio-style landing page, I built the whole thing around that idea: the visual language borrows straight from design redlines — annotation tags, spec callouts, a stamped "uncredited" mark — the same marks designers use to talk to each other, turned into the page's personality.
It's fully interactive: scroll animations, a working contact form, an FAQ accordion, a testimonial carousel, and a hero mockup that tilts as you move your cursor. Built responsive, accessible, and ready to launch.
The goal was simple, make trust and discretion feel like the product, not just a line in the copy.

Excellent
spent way too long making sure a cartoon giant's knee bolts read correctly at every breakpoint, but the SLAB landing page is live — concrete photography holding up a mascot who's clearly made of the same material as the building he's climbing.
