I’d pick the Second Version. The feather detail adds a nice touch and makes the hero feel less predictable.

I’d go with the First Version, Abolaji. The hero feels more immersive and immediately gives the page a stronger visual identity. I’d maybe increase the contrast on the text just a little, but overall this one feels more polished to me.

Second Version keeps the headline off the painting, so legibility never has to fight the artwork underneath. First Version overlays the text directly on the image for a more immersive hero, but risks losing contrast wherever the painting gets busy.
