When designing the via website and visual identity, I knew that the image of subway doors opening needed to bring you into the story. The app is all about turning missed connections into meet cutes—re-opening sliding doors—and all the great rom com tropes. Creating a truly cinematic experience was the only choice. The subway door metaphor as a visual anchor for a connection app is really clever. That warm cream and orange palette with the bird illustration feels distinct in a space where most dating apps default to bright reds and purples.
