Hero Redesign concept
Came across Formalini on Product Hunt and ended up redesigning its hero.
The original copy explained what the product does, but it pushed the actual document-processing experience too far down the page.
So I reworked the hero around a split layout, with a visual flow showing how documents become structured, usable data.
Also explored a more technical, grid-based visual direction while keeping the existing brand identity.
Here's the before and after ↓
Showing documents turning into structured data right in the hero explains the product much faster than the original copy. Nice before and after.
That was smooth , How did you come up with that ?
Two hero directions for a creative talent platform. Same copy, totally different visual approach.
A: real photography, purple gradient overlay, feels human and immediate
B: illustrated character, teal gradient, feels modern and brand-forward
Which one makes you want to hire through this platform? 👇
