I built Courteffects Studio, a photography booking platform for my friend Sam, a photographer in Lagos. Sam was spending too much time managing messages, bookings, clients, staff, and studio sessions, which made it difficult to focus on photography and respond to potential clients quickly.

The goal was to turn the booking process from scattered conversations into one simple workflow. Clients can explore the studio, view services and packages, check availability, choose a date and time, provide their details, and submit a booking request without starting with a DM.

I also built a gallery to showcase the studio's work and build trust before a client books. The services and packages give clients the information they would normally have to ask Sam for manually.

The most important part is the structured booking flow. Instead of several rounds of messages about services, pricing, availability, and event details, the client provides everything in one place.

On the owner's side, I built an admin experience where Sam can manage bookings, clients, inquiries, availability, and follow-up from one place. I also added communication features so clients can continue conversations around their booking without switching between different platforms.

Technically, I built the application with TypeScript, React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack, using Lovable Cloud's persistent PostgreSQL database for application data. I also added availability controls to prevent conflicting bookings.

The result is more than a photography portfolio. It's a booking workflow designed to turn “Can I book you?” into “You're booked,” while reducing the manual work Sam has to handle.
