WriteRight4Life, LLC: The Growth of a Promising Litterateur
The development of my person, both personally and professionally, has spoken to my heart: I matter. When I first set out to write, my mission was to learn grammar, punctuation, and syntax. The mission to write and publish compelling stories then took on an entirely different role. I became an expressionist, challenged by clarity, engagement, the concise use of dialect, and correctness, which meant knowing when to break the rules appropriately.
The growth I have experienced has been paramount in shaping my writing style. I set out to develop a voice unlike anyone else’s, and my unconventional approach to writing became a model to follow. I’ve written three books, and my fourth manuscript feels genuinely like my own voice. My method works for me as a litterateur.
Developing the work in my head is a complicated process. Most writers argue that I go about creating literature all wrong. I understand that a nonlinear approach to writing goes against the long-standing outlines that writers follow. The structure of my style strangely aligns with the literary life I’ve had to adopt. I committed myself to ending the illiteracy that plagued me. To communicate effectively means I write for readers who seek a challenge.
I challenged the literary industry with a commitment to prove myself as a business opportunist who cares enough to achieve success on my own. The industry has so many publishing identities that challenged me to study the basis for outcomes. I found no significant difference between traditional and hybrid publishing beyond the sales pitches that make them more prominent in selection. I found that establishing myself as a project development company gave me the power to succeed and fail.
I had nothing to lose. I have degrees in creative writing and developmental editing, graphic design and multimedia, illustration and animation, and digital marketing and e-commerce. I have enough experience in each area to support my endeavors. When I wake up each day, I align with the day’s plans to best represent the career of a litterateur. The career I have earned through sacrifice and dedication to the craft, which lives and dies by the choices I make for myself.
Starting the business, securing the LLC, creating a brand identity, and maintaining the voice every day through marketing, I feel privileged to do what I do. I will never quit this life as a litterateur, whose sole priority comes down to one obligation, whether or not I love the work that comes from the growth I deserve.
Achieving in every other aspect of my profession simply relies on a promise I have kept. If I have breath in my lungs and the day offers me its hours, I shall grow more and more.
