New journal entry on the Bough Studio site. Fàilte started as a brief I set myself: build a filtering system that actually works. The article covers how it’s built, why the design decisions matter, and how a ceramics template relates to property sites.

Fàilte: What a Ceramics Template Has to Do with Property Sites — Bough Studio
Fàilte is a Framer template built around a filtering system that knows what’s left. CMS-driven, content-agnostic, and designed to work as hard on a property site as it does on a ceramics catalogue.

Which one would you build the collection around?
The first is ruby glass with a fluted rim and a single calla lily, sky blue surface, red caustics thrown across the floor.
The second is matte cobalt ceramic with a hole through its body on travertine, one orange anthurium, rust wall carrying the flower’s shadow.
One sells light. The other sells form.

This company’s previous website had poor mobile usability, unclear services and outdated branding.
We rebuilt it into a 14-page responsive website with custom property listings, filtering and clearer service positioning.
The result is a website that actually reflects the quality of the business behind it.
I just put my first two Framer templates out into the world 🙌
Alder21 is a free landing page for real estate launches. Floor plans for every unit type, a payment-plan calculator you can actually play with, and a form to book visits.
Selects is a portfolio for photographers, built like a 35mm contact sheet. The film strips move on their own, and when you hover a project a red grease-pencil circle draws itself around it.
Both are up on Contra and the Framer Marketplace. Templates are new territory for me, so I'd really like honest feedback. What would you change first?
the payment plan calculator is the standout, id make it visible before the unit details
