“But will it actually adapt to my content?” 🤔
I got asked some version of this a few times after sharing Glimpse here.
And it was a fair question.
It’s easy to make a template look good with content that was designed specifically for it. It’s a completely different thing to throw real content at it and expect the system to hold up.
So instead of saying yes, I decided to test it properly.
I made Glimpse my own portfolio.
I moved in my real projects, case studies, journal, services, experience — everything.
And that exposed things I hadn’t noticed while building the template.
Different case study lengths behaved differently. Real content created edge cases. Some parts of the system needed more flexibility.
So I went back and fixed them.
But I wanted to test one more thing.
Could I build my portfolio on Glimpse without losing my own identity or discoverability?
I searched “Shreyansh Shrivastava UX” on Google.
My Glimpse-powered portfolio is currently sitting at #2, right below LinkedIn.
That might be my favourite part of this whole experiment.
Because Glimpse isn't supposed to make your portfolio look like Glimpse.
It's supposed to give your work a system to live in — while your content, identity and search presence remain yours.
So at this point, I haven't just designed Glimpse.
I've used it. I've found its limits. I've fixed them. And now my own portfolio runs on it.
Consider it stress-tested.
