Sharing something a little different today πŸŽ₯ I just finished editing a short video from a recent family trip, and I wanted to share a bit about the process, not just the final cut, but everything that went into it. It started with no real plan. No shot list, no script, just a camera, my family, and a willingness to capture whatever happened along the way. Some of the best moments weren't staged at all; they were the laughs in between, the unplanned detours, the small conversations that usually get forgotten but somehow stayed on film this time. Editing it afterward turned into its own kind of journey. Going through hours of footage meant reliving the trip all over again, noticing details I'd missed in the moment, hearing inside jokes replay, and realizing how much of the trip's heart was in the quiet, unscripted parts rather than the highlights I thought I was filming for. What started as a simple video project turned into a reminder of why I picked up a camera in the first place: not to produce something polished, but to hold on to time with the people who matter most. Grateful for the trip, grateful for the process, and even more grateful for the family I got to share it with. #FamilyTime #Filmmaking #BehindTheScenes #ShortFilm #MemoriesMatter
