Mutaciones is an experimental video art short film created as a mixed-media piece—blending moving image, stills/photographic textures, text, and digital interventions to build an intimate, fragmented narrative. ✧₊˚
The film explores family dynamics, fear, and the tension between physical distance and emotional distance—how relationships shift, mutate, and reconfigure when life forces change. Rather than telling a linear story, Mutaciones moves like memory: layered, subjective, and emotionally precise ♡｡ﾟ

Lately I’ve been feeling a little uninspired, so I’ve been reconnecting with nature instead of chasing novelty.
I’m experimenting with turning nature paintings from The Met Open Access collection into ASCII mixed-media pieces.
Even as paintings, nature removes the pressure to be “original” and replaces it with curiosity.
Where do you turn when you need to reconnect with your creative process?

Reimagining over creating is such an underrated approach. Those ASCII collage pieces have such a moody and layered feel to them. Really love this direction!
🎬 If you’ve ever turned long form videos into shorts, you know how time consuming it can be.
I tried OpusClip by uploading 1 hour meeting video (in Latvian), and it automatically created 38 short clips.
What stood out:
▶ Accurate Latvian transcription & captions.
▶ Hooks created for each clip.
▶ Virality score for each clip.
▶ Great UI & features for further tweaking clips.
From there, I could publish / schedule clips directly, or download (HD) clips individually or all at once.
If you repurpose long videos, this can save you a ton of editing time. ⏱️

can tell you had a lot of fun
A while ago, I had the privilege of working for none other than Ben & Jerry’s to film their Free Cone Day in the Netherlands.
In addition to filming and photography, I was responsible for handling filming rights, as the footage would be used in their global marketing campaigns.
It was an incredible feeling to contribute to something so much bigger than myself.
To this day, it remains my highest-paid one-off project.
Considering it only required some prep and a half-day shoot, totaling eight hours of work, the rate I was able to charge was something I never had done before in my carreer!
The footage was featured in their 2023 global campaigns, and I am still so grateful for the opportunity, which has since led to several more projects including internal work for Unilever.
