A client told me their packaging redesign helped grow their business 3x.
Not because the new design "looked better." Because we solved a specific problem: their old packaging didn't communicate what made the product different in the 2 seconds someone's eyes pass over a shelf.
Here's what actually changed: — Color-coded the product line so variants were instantly scannable. Rebuilt the front-of-pack hierarchy around the one claim that mattered most — Made the packaging do the selling, so the marketing didn't have to work as hard
None of this was about making it "prettier." It was about making it work harder.
What's one product on a shelf right now that you think is underselling because of its packaging, not its quality?
