Malam Tahun Baru is a short film project that I created and was screened at the Borneo Film Festival. In this project, I worked as both the Director and Video Editor, taking responsibility for the entire creative process from pre-production to post-production.
As the Director, I developed the story concept, planned the shots, directed the cast, and ensured that the film's message and emotions were effectively conveyed to the audience. As the Video Editor, I managed the complete post-production workflow, including story sequencing, video editing, transitions, audio synchronization, color grading, and final delivery.
The film focuses on emotional storytelling through a cinematic visual approach. This project demonstrates my ability to manage a film production from initial planning to final completion while maintaining strong visual quality and compelling narrative storytelling throughout every scene.
