Creative freedom is always appealing, but it can quickly become a challenge. With that freedom comes the responsibility of truly understanding the brand.
In this case, the client had no established brand guidelines. They asked us to explore their visual identity, and only gave us a color palette, a logo, and a typeface to start with.
The goal was to create a hero video for their website, the first impression visitors would have of the brand. After researching references and exploring different directions, I developed the video you see below.
The result was a success. The client loved the direction, which led to additional projects built around the same visual language. I prepared a brief case study below:
