I collect stamps. But cutting them out of packaging means destroying the original.
So I built Figmatelia — a hole-punch tool for photos. Upload any image, drag it under the punch, press down. The stamp appears.
The idea started as a sketch, became a Figma layout, and turned into working code through prompt refinement with Claude. The trickiest part: making the punch animation actually cut the right shape from the right coordinates. Harder than it sounds.
I love it!!! Been wanting to start a junk journal but wasn’t sure if I’d stick with it consistently. This is such a zero-cost, low-commitment way to begin.
I completely agree. I also tend to abandon new hobbies when the initial difficulty becomes unbearable. Thank you so much for the comment, truly appreciated ☺️
I love this! I'm a crafter, and I already do this in real life too! A digital one would be awesome, I think it would be great if we could make them into stickers to share on chats and insta stories <3
A tight deadline, a lot of screens, and an AI web demo to bring together.
For this Upwork project, I designed the UI in Figma using a consistent layout system to keep the work clear and deliver on time.
The client’s feedback says it best:
“Thanks to Mehdi, I was able to create the AI web demo product design very quickly. It wasn’t a small amount of work, but he put in the effort to meet an important deadline.”
Need help turning a complex web product into clear screens? Let’s talk.
I've been testing Figma AI for a while now. While prompting an entire UI is overkill, prompting complementary assets - like patterns or small visuals - can be a game-changer for speed and consistency.
