Dear Guest: a guest guide told as postcards from the host.
I build booking websites for short-term rental hosts in Rome, and they all tell me the same thing: they answer the same questions for every single guest. Dear Guest turns those answers into five postcards the host writes once.
For the guest, the link opens a little Roman house of their own. Every window is a postcard behind closed shutters until its day, the front door opens on arrival day with the code, the intercom ("Ask the house") answers from the host's own manual, and the shop next door sells the extras.
What runs by itself: bookings sync every hour from Airbnb,
Booking.com and Vrbo calendars; every morning a postman delivers the postcards that are due; "Ask the house" answers with AI from the manual only, never gives away the door code, and hands what it doesn't know to the host, who answers once and teaches the house; every night the public demo moves to fresh dates.
For the host: a post office with every postcard on its way, a strip per stay where postcards move to another day with a drag, and an 8-step house setup with a live preview of what the guest will see.
Built on Base44: 7 entities with row-level security, 11 backend functions, 3 scheduled workflows, and a front end designed from scratch around one idea: the page is the house.
