How do you get your first client on Contra? 👀

I’d love to hear from people who landed their first client there. What worked best for you: applying to opportunities, networking, or posting consistently?

Also, is Contra Pro worth buying before landing your first client, or is the free plan enough to get started?

Posting your work consistently helps a lot, people get to know your style before they ever need you. Pairing that with a couple of focused applications per week usually works better than applying to everything.

Funnily enough, I haven't gotten a job on Contra yet. 😂 I'm just here, posting my work, building my portfolio, and hoping the right clients find me

One thing I've learned is that you have to keep showing up, even when the results aren't coming yet.
