What I built: A short AI-assisted film clip in an action-comedy style. The story is simple and visual: a woman in a fugitive-style outfit steals the CapCut icon and runs while guards chase her through the streets.
How I built it: I wrote and refined prompts in Google Flow to generate the chase scene. When the generator wouldn’t render a real brand logo, I adapted by generating the scene with a blank placeholder object, then added the CapCut icon in CapCut using overlay and tracking so it follows her movement. I finished with editing, music, and sound effects.
Why I built it: CapCut is a tool for creators, so I wanted the project itself to celebrate that. The “stolen icon” idea is a fun way to say CapCut is the thing every creator wants. It also shows a real workflow: AI generates raw footage, and CapCut gives it the final storytelling and polish.
What I learned: Prompt wording matters a lot, and combining tools gets better results than relying on one. Working around the AI’s limits pushed me to be more creative with the editing.
