Most people think social media and SEO are two separate jobs. They're not. Here's what I've seen working across client projects in different niches, same pattern: Social media doesn't directly rank your website. Google has said this clearly. But it feeds SEO in three quiet ways: → It builds branded search volume the more people see you on LinkedIn or Facebook, the more they Google your name later, and branded search signals authority. → It gets your content discovered and crawled faster a link from an active social post is often the fastest path to indexing. → Your profile itself can rank a LinkedIn page or Facebook page sitting on a high-authority domain can rank for your name + service keywords while your actual website is still "warming up." I call this free parasite SEO. The move is simple: stop posting generic updates. Post the exact questions your buyers are typing into Google. Answer them in plain language. Link back to the page on your site that goes deeper. Do this consistently, and your social presence starts pulling weight your website hasn't earned yet. Question for my network: which platform has actually sent you real leads, LinkedIn, Facebook, or somewhere else? -Nayem SEO & AI Consultant
