Driving Through a Storybook: A Fairytale Love Journey Inspired by Akyaka This project is a wedding gift designed for two of my closest friends, inspired by the place where they fell in love driving through Muğla, Türkiye in their blue car. I wanted to recreate that feeling as a fairytale-like journey, where they travel along a romantic path surrounded by trees and flowers that look like 2D paper cutouts, as if taken from a storybook.

The experience explores the contrast between 2D dimensions pushing a 3D environment to feel soft and illustrative, while combining it with a fully modeled 3D car to create depth and motion. It’s an attempt to turn a real memory into an interactive, dreamlike scene.
